This document outlines the features set of the v1 product release. It’s for team communication purposes to have the workstream set up.

What’s VoiceDeck’s minimal lovable product

In this release, it’s important to set the tone of our grand vision to attract a “mission-driven” audience. We should see it as an innovation that will generate a significant impact on the local community and on journalism as a whole.

Our grand vision:

Shaping the Future of Journalism with Collective Empowerment and Local Insights

Target audience:

Early adopters, who has already the behavior of contributing, give funds to public good projects, ideally quite a tech-savvy. They are also quite web3 friendly.

Terminology:

User - anyone who interact with VoiceDeck

Citizen - User who has verified aadhaar status

Journalist - Citizen who has been verified by news outlet. Not yet supported.

Supporter - User, Citizen or Journalist who give funds on VoiceDeck

Impact report - the report or stories that has been published previously and verified that actually produce impact, aka Hypercerts. V1 is verify by Devansh, stories were produced by 3 partnered news outlets.
